The Real Cable HD ILINK cable uses bi-metal (copper/silver) conductors to provide a transmission superior in quality to standard copper. It allows a bit-rate of 400 Mbits/s (standard IEEE 1394). As a result, the transport of high definition audio digital signals between the DVD-Audio/SACD readers and the audio/video amplifier is optimal, with a perfectly detailed and precise signal. The use of aluminium strip screening and an anti vibration vegetable insulator makes it possible to obtain a wealth of information and to transport of digital data without loss. Recommended for High Definition audio digital connections: DVD players, DVD-Audio, SACD player, multi-channel amplifiers.
As the images and sounds are stored in digital form, the fields of multimedia and home cinema are moving together. From now, the standards are most often common between the computing and home cinema fields. It is therefore necessary to offer quality cables for this use. Thus, Real Cable has applied its know-how to designing IEEE 1394 cables (also called Ilink or Firewire) and different models for USB. They use OFC copper for the conductors and gold for the contacts. Their internal structure is studied to guarantee the flows specified for each standard. Until now, these criteria of hi-fi quality were not taken into account in the computing field.
