In order to avoid bad contacts risks ; which are proportional to connectors´ weight & lenght ; Real Cable® propose in Exclusivity the "SafeLock" system, which secure the connection and eliminates the orginal fragility of HDMI standard plugs.

The HDMI SafeLock® system is compatible with most of HDMI playing equipments and a large part of the LCD/plasma TVs and projectors. In order to keep the best performance/flexibility ratio of the cable, the section is ideally adapted with respect to the length. Moreover, to achieve 100% compatibility with your equipments, the system is slightly different depending on the length :

1M50 to 5M cables : One HDMI SafeLock® plug + one standard HDMI. The SafeLock® system is fixed.

7M50 to 15M cables : Two HDMI SafeLock® plugs. The SafeLock® system is dismountable and supplied factory mounted on one end.
System installation : refer to the cable’s end factory mounted. Slide it in until the “Click”.

The Locking system is achieved by replacing your original equipment’s screw by the supplied SafeLock® screw. If your equipments have no screw, the cable can be used anyway without the locking function, such as a classical cable.
