The bi-wiring cabling is achieved by 2 pairs of conductors. Both “positive” of cables are connected together on the positive output of the amplifier, same for negative. On the speaker side, the positive and negative dedicated to the low frequencies are connected to the “bass” input (+/-) of the speaker and the conductor’s pair dedicated to high frequencies is connected to the Mid/treble input (+/-) of the speaker. The goal of this kind of cabling is to separate the way of bass frequencies with respect to the other. Low frequencies are the most power consuming and thanks to the bi-wiring, the important current generated by the bass can not affect the other frequencies going through separated conductors. The sound is then clearer and more airy. For an easy locating, our Bi-wiring cables are color-coded.
